My Ambition

Life without ambition is like a letter without an address. Just like a plane without pilot which is like directionless movement. Many great men have achieved great success because of their ambition.
At present I am studying in FYBBA – ISM. This is the time for every student to think over his/her aim of life or ambition. So many students think about different courses.
My aim in life is to become a successful manager. In today’s world people go very fast and achieve a lot many selecting the profession of a manager is equal to entering formal way of life. Every organization whether business or social religious or political are basically a group of people and leaders of that group is manager. Manager directs the people what to do, when to do and where to do. Managers direct the whole company and manager has his own status and place in company or bank or wherever he/she is. Manager has his/her own personality. At present manager is everywhere in schools, colleges, multinational companies, industries etc… These all fields have manager it controls and uses manpower because he/she does all the work of company or industry.
Manager reconciles individual goals with the organizational goals. They create harmony among the working of various department and divisions of the company. A good manager is a leader not a boss. It is a pervasiveness of human element which gives managers who perform the functions of management are very much tangible and visible.
At every level on management an individual manager perform both types of functions. Every manager spends a part of his time an administrative management and remaining the time on operative management. There are different types of managers like marketing manager, production manager, production manager and finance manager. Human skills are reflected in the way a manager perceives his superiors, subordinates and peers. Art awareness of the importance of human skills should be developed throughout the career while technical skills involve mastery of ‘things’. Human skills are concerned with understanding of people.
That is why I want to become a manager and to become a manager I have to get the degree of MBA. I will have to work hard to achieve my aim in life. I know that I can achieve my goal.
